Yoga Old And Modern

Old And Modern Yoga

In general, the notion of yoga has changed a lot. If we compare the traditional yoga of ancestors with the modern version of today, then we can see whether there really is any change or not.

In most sections, articles, books, blogs and other media sources on yoga, we can see how they are different from the ancestors' traditions.

These modern practices, on closer inspection, are very different from antiquity.

Some purists of the day, who consider modern yoga different from traditional, are called "non-yoga".

  • To become a diamond miner
  • Take care of your picks and shovels.
  • To become a miner of your spiritual self,
  • Take care of your body, your breath, and your brain.
  • But do not confuse tools and goals.

Historically, yoga is tight and there are subtle differences between older teachers. The principles of this practice were generally taught through religious instruction, where small instructions were enhanced verbally.

For example, in ancient times, the outline of Yoga was found in 196 Yoga Sutras, on which a teacher was discussed and worked for the student.

Apart from this, a deeper meaning of Om Mantra, for example, is elaborated elaborate Upanishad and verbally. This article does not claim that there is universal contemporary yoga ... as well as many different perspectives.

However, the overall perception of yoga has made an overall change which has resulted in a review. It seems that centuries have been compromised with old traditional practices such as the formulations.

However, we can argue that these indispensable changes are a reflection of the ability of yoga to adapt to changes in time. Ancient or otherwise the traditional yoga combines deep religious roots with physical and extreme meditation practice.

The goal of traditional yoga was to attain liberation, freedom from rebirth and recognition of its divinity. As we have seen, traditional yoga is used differently than most modern styles.

Ancient Yoga

An example of this can be seen by looking at Gyan Yoga, which has no currency. Instead, the focus is on the path of rational self-exploration, which is in search of real knowledge of real nature.

When yoga is used, many of us think of bending in different currencies. In fact, these currencies are also known as "Asana", traditionally were not a part of Yoga, unless someone named Pontangli wrote Yoga Sutras 2,200 years ago.

Patanjali made the body and conscious relationship a discipline for the posture. Ancient yoga practitioners saw the asanas as a small but useful part of the practice in full form.

Modern Yoga

Traditional Yoga styles are not popular practices in modern culture like modern yoga, but many aspects have been integrated into today's yoga styles.

However, today most of the yoga studios are based on different postures/rugs. Due to its many benefits, including flexibility and reduction of stress, yoga has become a popular activity in western culture.

Depending on the type of yoga, a specific class can focus on physical fitness or focus on meditation using some ancient background. Modern yoga does not expect any spiritual knowledge from the therapist. However, it can be a catalyst, which enables you to acquire knowledge.
